Table 1. Eighteen new isomers have been observed in a pulsed 15-MeV
deuteron beam survey of 72 elements. Gamma-ray transitions were observed
using time and energy channels in a two-dimensional 4069-channel analyzer.
The new isomers are listed in the table above.
A very different type of experiment involved using the natural pulsed nature of the cyclotron beam to observe radioactive decays between the pulses [Ref.5]. Some previously unknown isomers observed in this way are listed in Table 1.
