History
2008
The first seven students graduate with the Leadership Certificate.
2007
A committee of faculty, staff and students interested in leadership discuss the scholarship and teaching of leadership. They develop the mission statement and assessable education goals.
2006
The Leadership Certificate is approved. The Senior Leadership Seminar is offered for the first time in the fall term (2071).
2005
The scope is broadened through additional discussion with faculty; Dr. Regina Schulte-Ladbeck submits the Leadership Certificate to A&S Undergraduate Council.
2004
Dr. Joe Grabowski and Dr. Regina Schulte-Ladbeck discuss the idea for a "Scientific Leadership" Certificate.
