Review your academic goals and speak to your advisor. Enroll in a Learning Community for the Leadership Certificate. Or, enroll in two foundation courses of your choice.
Complete the Emerging Leaders Program and two foundation courses. Visit the Office of Experiential Learning to get advice about internship and service for Leadership for your Junior Year. Declare.
You may be able to complete your internship over the summer, and your service during the winter or spring breaks. Also complete two foundation courses.
Complete your last foundation course. Take the Senior Leadership Seminar in the fall and in the spring. Graduate.
Some courses in the Leadership Certificate might co-fulfill other of your requirements.
A&S students can meet up to seven general education requirements. You should also ask your
advisor about using the Leadership Certificate to fullfill your related area requirement.

Yes, you can graduate in four years with your Baccalaureate degree and the Leadership Certificate. Four hundred students in A&S alone add value to their Pitt education every year by graduating with a major and a certificate.
