We had bad seeing at the beginning of the night (~1.7") and we lost some time trying to nail the focus. Therefore, I decided not to observe PTF11mty. The seeing improved significantly in the middle of the night (0.5") and I was able to get good observations for all of the SN. There was a bubble in the morning where the seeing got worse again so I spent a little extra time on PTF12iiq. Here is a summary of NIR observations so far: Name | z | B-Peak | Sep. 25 | Oct. 1 | notes PTF11mty | 0.077 | | x,72 | x,x | for host galaxy template 2012em | 0.038 | 9-11-12 | 27,27 | 36,45 | 2012et | 0.025 | 9-16-12 | 18,18 | 18,18 2011iu | 0.046 | | x,63 | 63,x | for host galaxy H template PTF12ikt | 0.045 | 9-12-12 | 27,27 | 36,27 | 2012fb | 0.038 | 9-25-12 | 18,24 | 18,27 | PTF12iiq | 0.029 | 9-09-12 | 27,27 | 36,36
