WIYN 3.5m WHIRC Observing Report for 2013/05/19

Notes:

Had trouble starting the mop.  It was hanging up when loading the detector biasing
window.  Karen had a list of instructions that we followed which resolved the 
problem.

We then had some instrument trouble, elevation drive was tripping.  
The telescope was not slewing/moving properly.
And there was a cable wrapped around something it shouldn't be? An instrument 
specialist came up to help.  We did not lose too much time due to this. Maybe 1/2 an
hour.

There has been some trouble with the filter wheels.  Had to hone them before we started.
This took about 5 minutes.  In future make sure that filters are either honed or that
it is really in fact the filter that you think it is.

Had some more instrument trouble in the middle of the night after making a big move in 
azimuth.  The azimuth drive was "tripping."  This took about 15min. to fix.

Seems like we drifted out of focus on PTF13ayw so I spent the last 15min of 
the night on it in H just in case.
