WIYN 3.5m WHIRC Observing Report for 2013/09/27

P525-E in JHKs at 1.1, 1.3, 1.65 airmasses.
P161-D in JHKs at 1.75, 1.38, 1.09 airmasses.

Seeing: ~1" but periods as low as 0.6"
Moon: 39%

Notes:

Observed second half of night.
Marsha Wolf had the first half of the night. She also did our calibrations.
I am not sure how this will work out when the data is archived but we can always copy them out of her directory at a later observing date.


Ran the dither sequence twice for P161-D around image 100 and image 188 (airmass~1.73, 1.38) in H.
Focus was acting up during the first images.

Focus seems to be much more sensitive.  Adjustments of 5-10 seem to make 
a large difference rather than 20-25.
