WIYN 3.5m WHIRC Observing Report for 2014/03/18 Summary: We observed 6 supernovae, 1 host galaxy, and 2 standard stars. S791-C in JHKs at 1.26 and 1.5 airmasses. P212-C in JHKs at 1.08 and 1.23-1.35 (varying with seeing ~1.7) airmasses Observer: Kara Ponder with Anja Weyant advising until 12 am EST Telescope Operator: Doug Williams and Christian Soto Conditions: wind: 17 mph Humidity: 23.4 Temperature: 14.6 C Seeing: Starting at 1.7", going down to .7-1.0" Moon: 93% Notes: Cirrus clouds moved in as we opened the dome. They moved in and out for the rest of the night. We could not start with a host galaxy and moved to doing the bright supernova first. Only had on supernova with a star bright enough for WTTM. A lot of boxy contours. Took 567 images.
