Last night's observers were looking at near zenith objects when messed up the guider (??) had to try to fix it or wait until it is dark enough to pick up fainter objects. Went 45 minutes in to twilight. Dave is using a WTTM field finder to see if stars in the field are bright enough. Can see if there is something bright enough before taking an exposure. Very nifty. Also working with using WTTM to track the focus and better guess how much to change the focus by if we start driftying out of focus. Though several of the stars the finder said were not bright enough to use, we were able to use. Only correctly identified one WTTM candidate. I was not prepared enough. PTF13asv has a bright star near it for WTTM and would probably have pointed out of the wind, but I was not prepared to make that switch because I did not know about it. Next time plan for switching hosts if needed not just switching from hosts to supernovae
