Quizzes, tests, and
the exam will cover material discussed in class as well as in the
textbook.
You should keep notes
of the activities we do in class so that you can review them before
a test.
Questions will cover
physics concepts and laboratory discoveries, as well as traditional
problem solving exercises. Students who take an active part in learning
while in the classroom have successful test scores!
It is important to
solve each question carefully, using the GOAL protocol, and not make
careless mistakes.
All tests are
given under Pitt's student
academic integrity policy. You will be asked to certify that you
have neither given nor received unauthorized aid on this test. Specifically,
you understand your access to the Internet is limited to the test
and the equation sheet only. You also must not discuss the content
of the test until after the due date.
